Whether you love classical music or are simply curious, this concert has something to surprise you. Duo Catalina brings together Arizona Philharmonic flutists Jeannette Hirasawa Moore and Andrea Redcay Graves for an evening of music spanning four centuries—from Telemann and Mozart to The Hobbit, Les Misérables, and the Beatles. You’ll hear both the familiar concert flute and the rich, mellow sound of the alto flute, revealing the remarkable variety within the flute family. Performed entirely acoustically in the intimate setting of the Highlands Center, this concert offers a chance to experience the natural sound and artistry of two outstanding musicians

Flute collaborators Jeannette Hirasawa Moore and Andrea Redcay Graves formed Duo Catalina to present two flute, flute and alto flute, and flute and piano works to a wide variety of audiences throughout northern and central Arizona.  They were recently featured at the Scottsdale Musical Instrument Museum special exhibit "The Magical Flute" representing the Sedona Symphony. Moore and Graves have also performed at the Prescott Highland Center and Mountain Artists Guild representing the Arizona Philharmonic, the Flagstaff Max Jerrell Community Concert Series and the a Winslow Correctional Facility Arts Capacity concerts representing the Flagstaff Symphony.  Duo Catalina also enjoys playing for senior residences, weddings, and corporate events.

No physical tickets will be issued. Your name will be on the guest list once you have purchased tickets. You are welcome to bring non-alcoholic drinks and snacks to enjoy during the performance.
